COPE has many resources throughout the community. Some of these include:
Outreach for the Transgender and Gay and Lesbian
Community (Via bars, Internet, magazines, doctors, clinics,
and community health clinics referrals.
Referrals and resources, including outreach employment
referral (PTEC, Vocation Rehabilitation Services, and St.
Petersburg College.
Parole/Probation collaboration
Referrals for medical issues (HIV needs, detox, hormone,
mental health therapy.
Medication adherence planning
There are also many resources on the Internet. See our Community
Links page for a complete list of community, local, and national links.
This site contains HIV prevention messages that may not be appropriate for all
audiences. Since HIV infection is spread primarily through sexual practices or by
sharing needles, prevention messages and programs may address these topics. If
you are not seeking such information or may be offended by such materials,
